You can tell as soon as you enter that Zoo Lagos is all about the animals, the environment they live in is beautiful and the animals are so happy that many of them are breeding!   • Loule CarnavalLoulé Carnaval - The Loulé Carnaval is the oldest continuous event in Portugal, with over 100 years of celebrations. Thousands of revelers jam the streets of our local town. Those in costume strut their stuff, others are there to watch and enjoy. The parades start on the Friday before Ash Wednesday with the children’s carnaval and then again on the Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. The main avenida in Loulé is full of floats, samba groups, Brazilian dancers and giant costumed characters, providing a rhythmic beat, lots of laughs and pure enjoyment.
